Halleck Vineyard produces some of the best wines Sonoma County has to offers. For a personal experience they invite people to their vineyard home and serve them personally. Ross Halleck invited us to experience a pairing of his wine at his vineyard home. The home is nestled the foggy rolling hills of Sebastopol in the Russian River Valley, just inland from the majestic Sonoma Coast. Ross brought out a selection of 7-8 wines for us to taste. He paired their domestically and internationally awarded wines with local artisan delectables, from organic cheeses to hand-made chocolates containing their luscious Halleck Vineyard Pinot Noir. It is an wine tasting experience unlike any other. We did not leave empty handed. We added several bottles to our cellar to share with friends.

Their wine making process shepherds the fruit to its greatest expression using guidance and inspiration from both. Planting his grapes in 1993, his first harvest was in 1999. Their wine maker Rick Davis has worked with many of the top producers on the Sonoma Coast. He consults with Jennifer and Ross on final blends.
