Chowder Day is a super fun event held every year in January. It sells out within weeks of the tickets going online. Many businesses participate and donate their time and food for the event. Some visitors have come to the event for many years. They create their own sweatshirts to commemorate every year they have come. Each participants gets to taste each restaurants clam chowder recipe. The benefit is used by the Chamber to promote businesses, support the community through local charities and schools.
